RSPB Aylebeare, July 2023

Visited this Devon healthland site several times on a trip to Exeter University. The weather was wet and windy so birding was difficult, especially looking for the relatively shy Dartford Warblers.  In the end, I had many views of these birds but none close enough for a good photograph.

Also present were Stonechats, Long-tailed tits, Linnets and a distant Spotted Flycatcher.

RSPB Aylesbeare is an excellent site for warblers, especially in the spring.
